B-Mailer™
When a person writes about something they're very excited
about, their writing may be interpreted incorrectly as a
sales pitch.
I'll try to keep my enthusiasm controlled.
B-Mailer is awesome and easy to use. (Sorry, I'll keep
better control over my fingers from now on.)
(But, well, it really *is* awesome, and easy to use.)
B-Mailer is a subscription list manager and emailer. It
has all the basics:
-
Copy 'n paste subscription form.
-
Automatic double opt-in an email with one-click
confirmation link is automatically sent when a
subscription is requested (you can customize the
email).
-
Automatic, yet customizable, bounce handling.
-
One-click unsubscribe.
-
Integrated help files.
That's what makes it so awesome. Yet, there are no confusing
features only few people would use.
The control panel is a nice, clean, interface to everything
B-Mailer has to offer. That's what makes it so easy.
The B-Mailer home page
lists more useful features, such as
-
Personalized emails (name, email, data subscribed,
IP address can all be inserted into mailings sent
to the list).
-
Optional custom emails when a subscription is
confirmed and when an unsubscribe occurs.
-
Easy search for editing or deleting subscription
records.
-
Manual, immediate emailing to the list or scheduled
for future mailing.
-
Automatic backups.
A live control panel for your pleasure is linked from
the B-Mailer home page.
The live control panel has only a few restrictions, related
to security, because it's available to the public. None of
the restrictions inhibit your use of the control panel to
get a feel for how easy it is.
I think I kept my enthusiasm pretty well controlled, don't
you?
If it wasn't controlled, I would say things like (just a
touch less control, for comparison):
"Help is one-click away."
"Email can be your choice of plain text or HTML."
"Copy 'n paste form. Three different subscription form
styles to choose from, each with or without a name field.
Form button can be an image instead."
"Use B-Mailer for ezines, announcement lists, blog update
notices, or communicating with a list of customers. It's
click 'n send easy."
"Got a list already? B-Mailer has easy import."
"Need to export your list? YB-Mailer makes that easy, too."
"Getting Started help page with step by step instructions."
"One-click printer-friendly formatting for any help page."
I think that's enough for one article.
The web page has more. Be sure
to have a look.
Oh, yes, the update notifications for the blog at
/ uses B-Mailer. And several of our
other blogs, as well.
Try it out. Subscribe, use the one-click confirm, get an
update notice, use the one-click unsubscribe. See how it
works from the subscriber's point of view.
You'll agree that it's easy. You might even agree that
it's awesome.
